College Hunger in San Diego County

Nearly 50% of college students in San Diego face food insecurity. This means they do not have reliable access to food to sustain a steady and nutrient-rich diet, which negatively impacts their academic performance.

To address this important problem, college campuses across the county have established food pantries to feed students in need. The challenge? Keeping those food pantry shelves stocked at all times.
