Join the Food Bank and our summer food drive media partner CBS News 8 for our Day-to-Donate Drive-Thru Food Drive taking place on Thursday, July 16!

Food Bank staff and volunteers will be on-site in the parking lot of the Vons grocery store on Murphy Canyon Rd. and the Albertsons grocery store on Woodland Parkway in San Marcos collecting donations of nonperishable food items, while CBS 8 broadcasts live from the event. Donation drop-off times for each site are listed below.

Day-to-Donate Drive-Thru Food Drive Locations and Times:

1. Vons on Murphy Canyon Road from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.

2. Albertsons on Woodland Parkway in San Marcos from 6 a.m. to 12 noon

To maintain proper social distancing and adhere to all CDS and state-issued health and safety regulations, Food Bank supporters and donors are asked to load the trunk of their vehicle with their donations. When they arrive to drop off the donations, our team of staff and volunteers will unload them.
