Help the San Diego Food Bank and our North County Food Bank chapter provide food assistance to local children living in poverty throughout the month of September through the Albertsons and Vons Nourishing Neighbors campaign!

HOW CAN I HELP

It’s easy! Simply visit your local Albertsons or Vons supermarket, and make a donation during checkout of $1, $5 or $10 to Nourishing Neighbors. Every donation makes a difference in the life of a child struggling to get the nourishment he or she needs to grow big and strong.

WHO BENEFITS

Funding from Nourishing Neighbors will support the Food Bank’s breakfast programs for local children in need. Through the Food Bank’s many programs, we provide local children facing food insecurity with healthy breakfast foods. In addition, the Food Bank provides children and families with food assistance for the nourishing meals they need to grow and thrive.

Last year, the Nourishing Neighbors campaign generated more than 1.5 million meals to help local school-aged children get the nourishment they need to thrive in the classroom!
