Run/walk for a great cause bright and early Thanksgiving morning!

Join us in beautiful downtown San Diego on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 28, for the 19th annual San Diego Run for the Hungry 5K & 10K!

Race Start Times

• 10K starts at 7:00 a.m.
• 5K starts at 8:15 a.m.

Race Entry Fees

Race entry fees range from $25 to $45.

Same-day registration is available before the start of each race! Registration will open at 6 a.m. for the 10K and 7 a.m. for the 5K. (Make sure you allow plenty of time to find parking!)

Can’t make it on Thanksgiving or just want to sleep in? You can register as a “Grocery Bag” participant to contribute $5 to help feed local families in need. How cool is that?! Click the Register Now button above to sign up!

Make It a Team Effort

Gather your friends, family members and co-workers to form a Run for the Hungry team! Teams with 15 or more participants who sign up before Nov. 8 will receive custom t-shirts with your team name printed on the back.

To join a team, click on the “Join a Team” button during registration and select your team.

To create a team, click on the “Create a Team” button during registration. Fill out the team name, team leader, and email fields accordingly. The Team Description field is not required, but may be useful for your team members. After you have finished registering other runners will be able to join your team. 

Race Packet Pick-Up

Race packets, complete with your 2019 San Diego Run for the Hungry race t-shirt, will be available for pick up on Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Roadrunner Sports, 5553 Copley Drive, San Diego, CA 92111. You can also pick up your race packet the morning of the race starting bright and early at 6 a.m.

Food Drive

Race participants are encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations to donate! Most needed food items include canned meat/fish, canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned soup/stew, cereal, and peanut butter.

Dogs Welcome

Dogs are welcome, but must be registered to participate! They can be registered the morning of the race for $10, which includes a commemorative bandanna and yummy treats along the course!
