Receiving Food Assistance at the North County Food Bank

The North County Food Bank offers individuals and families in need of food assistance access to our onsite Client Choice Food Pantry.

 

Client Choice Food Pantry

The pantry is set up similarly to a neighborhood grocery store. The pantry offers a variety of fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, meats, dairy products, baked goods, nonperishable canned food items, diapers for infants & toddlers, and period supplies.

Pantry clients shop by appointment only and can self-select the foods that best meet their dietary needs and preferences. Clients can stock up on enough food items to feed their families for two weeks.  Clients can make appointments every two weeks.

 

Client Choice Food Pantry Hours – By Appointment Only

Monday through Friday* 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Every 4th Thursday of the Month 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

If this is your first time shopping, please arrive 15 minutes early to your scheduled appointment to complete the intake form.

  • No documentation needed
  • Bring your Food Bank ID card if you have one
  • Bring your reusable grocery bags
  • Service animals are welcome
  • Diapers and period supplies are available in the pantry

Please keep in mind that the Super Pantry will be closed on the following federal holidays. Please plan accordingly should you need food assistance around these dates. ea
